Mindful Steps Technical Training Center, a leading institution in heavy duty equipment operation, has trained 50 youth in excavator, dump truck, forklift, and trailer operation. The training program, which is part of the center's efforts to address unemployment in Ghana, is aimed at equipping young people with the skills needed to secure jobs in the construction and mining industries.   The Africa Climate Innovation Challenge, an initiative of the Green Africa Youth Organization, has been empowering young Africans to drive climate action and entrepreneurship for the past decade. The challenge provides a platform for young people to develop and scale innovative solutions to address the impacts of climate change. According to Desmond Alugnoa, the founder of the Green Africa Youth Organization, the Africa Climate Innovation Challenge was born out of the need to provide young people with the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality. "We've been working with young people and communities for over 10 years, and we've seen the impact that they can have when given the right support and resources," Alugnoa said. CAF Football for Reform trains Female Inmates at Nsawam Prison

 CAF Women Football in partnership with GFA Foundation will organize a License D Coaching course for female inmates at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison. This will be the first time an international football Coaching training program will be taking place in a prison facility in Ghana. The CAF Football for Reform program aims to provide female inmates with CAF-accredited coaching qualifications, improving their job prospects and supporting their reintegration into society after their release from Prison. This initiative highlights the transformative potential of football as a tool for rehabilitation and positive change. The GFA Foundation is coordinating the training program with supervision from the GFA Technical Department and technical support from CAF. The 30 participants include 25 inmates and 5 prison officers. KGA organises free clinical outreach for Amasaman Community

Kofih global alumni Ghana chapter  in Accra has organised a three days health screening for residents in Amasaman District aimed at promoting early detection and treatment of health conditions and improving the overall well-being of the community. Dr Ralph Armah Dr Ralph Armah, director for Greater Accra regional hospital and president for Kofih global alumni  including surgeons, nurses, and specialists  took part in the initiative including the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and the KorleBu Teaching Hospital. "We saw about 537 patients during our initial medical screening, and out of them, a few were selected for surgeries. We're doing the surgeries in two days due to the high number of cases," Dr. Ralph explained. The medical outreach program aimed to provide surgical interventions for patients who could not afford them or did not have access to specialist care.   Acclaimed Ghanaian writer and director, Majid, popularly known as M. Sayibu, has premiered his latest film, "Adam the First," a thought-provoking movie that tackles the pressing issue of climate change. "I grew up liking science fiction films, but I also grew up really loving the Ghanaian films that I was watching when I was growing up.
