Rajo Care Foundation and partners celebrate mother's day with single mothers


 In a heartfelt celebration of Mother’s Day, Rajo Care Foundation and Afi Antonio Foundation , organized a special skills training event for 50 single mothers in the Ledzokuku Constituency. The initiative focused on Empowering Single Mothers through bead-making training, aimed at equipping them with practical skills to ease their financial burdens and promote economic independence.

Speaking at the event, Mr.Raphael Odjerbio Founder and Lead Partner of the Rajo Care Foundation. , reaffirmed his commitment to celebrating and honoring mothers annually. He emphasized the importance of creating sustainable opportunities for women, particularly single mothers, within local communities.



As part of the program's impact, five single mothers were selected at the end of the training to receive seed capital of GHS 500 each to help them kickstart their own bead-making businesses.




Mr.Raphael Odjerbio  also drew attention to the ongoing challenges faced by the foundation, particularly in sourcing sponsorships for community-based projects. He made a passionate appeal to philanthropic organizations and well-meaning individuals to support the foundation’s mission of community empowerment.



He concluded by expressing heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this year’s Mother’s Day celebration, acknowledging their invaluable support in making the event a meaningful and transformative experience for the participating mothers.
