‎Kokrobite Health Centre Launches 25th Anniversary Celebration with Month-Long Activities

‎The Kokrobite Health Centre has officially launched its 25th Anniversary celebrations with a ceremony held at the facility’s Outpatient Department (OPD) today. The event brought together unit heads, staff, and clients to mark the beginning of a milestone celebration dedicated to community health and service.

‎Unveiling a comprehensive month-long program, the Planning Committee outlined activities designed to promote health awareness, community engagement, and appreciation of staff contributions.
‎
‎


Speaking at the launch, the Head of Facility, Mr. Jerry Nunno, expressed gratitude to the unit heads for their support and urged staff to actively participate in the events. He emphasized that the anniversary represents a collective achievement in the Centre’s mission to promote health and healthy living in the Kokrobite community.
‎
‎Themed “Celebrating 25 Years of Promoting Health and Healthy Living,” the anniversary celebrations will run from October 3rd to November 2nd, 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of programs:

‎October 3rd: Health Walk and Health Screening at Tuba Junction.
‎
‎October 9th: Health Outreach at Tuba Roundabout.
‎
‎October 16th: Health Outreach at Kokrobite Pentecost.
‎
‎October 24th: Community Clean-Up Exercise.
‎
‎October 25th: Dinner and Awards Night to honour staff and partners.
‎
‎November 1st: Grand Durbar and Fundraising.
‎
‎November 2nd: Thanksgiving Service to close the celebrations.
‎
