Accra Hosts International Building, Infrastructure & Investment Expo 2025: Driving Sustainable Growth and Regional Integration

‎The Image Consortium has successfully organized the International Building, Infrastructure & Investment Expo 2025, held in Accra from September 12–14, 2025, under the theme “Building Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainable Growth & Regional Integration.”

‎The three-day event brought together investors, policymakers, builders, developers, and industry experts to explore emerging opportunities within West Africa’s infrastructure sector. The expo served as a platform for networking, showcasing innovations, fostering partnerships, and addressing financing challenges in infrastructure development, particularly in Ghana.

‎Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Water Resources, Deputy Minister Hon. Gizella Akushika Tetteh-Agbotui emphasized that infrastructure and construction remain critical drivers of development. She noted that these sectors are essential for stimulating innovation, attracting investment, and ensuring inclusive growth.

‎Hon. Gizella further highlighted the ministry’s commitment to delivering projects that are climate-resilient and sustainable, stressing that government alone cannot meet the nation’s infrastructure needs without strong collaboration from private stakeholders.

‎During her visit, the Deputy Minister toured the various exhibition stands, engaging with industry players and stakeholders. She also underscored the urgent need to address the infrastructure deficit, particularly in road networks at the district level, which she described as a pressing challenge for Ghana’s development agenda.

‎The International Building, Infrastructure & Investment Expo 2025 has once again positioned Accra as a hub for regional dialogue, investment, and innovation in building a stronger and more connected future for West Africa.
