Wellspring School Wins Ghana Country Title at 2025 Global EduQuality Awards , Ranked 3rd Globally Among 5,000 Schools

Wellspring School has been crowned the Ghana Country Winner at the prestigious 2025 Global EduQuality Awards Program, organized by Opportunity International. The school emerged victorious out of 980 institutions that represented Ghana, earning an impressive 3rd place globally among over 5,000 participating schools worldwide.
A delegation from Opportunity International’s EduQuality Program visited Wellspring School to present the school with a USD 1,000, a plaque, and a certificate in recognition of this outstanding achievement.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Mr. Prince Frimpong Kumi, the Chief Executive Officer of Wellspring School and a Global Schools Advocate, described the award as a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the school community.

“This recognition is not just about me as the CEO; it’s about the teachers, students, management, and the entire community whose hard work and passion made this possible,” he stated.
Mr. Kumi expressed deep gratitude to Opportunity International for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining educational excellence. He emphasized his vision of delivering quality and inclusive education in Ghana, despite challenges such as limited financial inclusion.
He further revealed plans to establish a credit union to empower parents, educators, and community members. This initiative aims to sustain educational development, provide financial support, and offer assistance to retired teachers, especially those contributing to technical and vocational education.
Hon. Emmanuel Tobbin, the Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom Constituency, also commended Wellspring School for its significant contributions within just six years of establishment.

“Wellspring School has made an incredible impact in this community. I remain committed to advancing quality technical and vocational education in my constituency to ensure no child is left behind,” he said.
Hon. Tobbin also pledged support for private teachers in his constituency, promising initiatives that would help them upgrade their skills and improve salary structures to promote educational quality.
The Board Chairman, Venerable Major Ebenezer N. A. Laryea, lauded the school’s leadership for its vision and consistency, urging parents to continue supporting the institution’s mission.
