‎GH¢24 Million Jewelry Heist: Four Arrested, Including American National ‎

The Ghana Police Service has dismantled a high-profile robbery syndicate linked to a string of daring jewelry heists across Accra and Takoradi.

‎Four suspects have been taken into custody, including Justin Madden, identified by authorities as an American national.

The group is allegedly responsible for five separate raids between April 2025 and March 2026, with the total value of stolen gold and gems exceeding GH¢24 million.

‎While the core operational team is in back in cells, police confirmed that a key accomplice,a receiver identified only by the alias “Oyarifa”,remains at large. High-tech forensic tracking and public intelligence led to the arrests.

‎DCOP Grace Ansah-Akrofi commended the tactical teams involved and urged the public to provide any information leading to the arrest of the remaining fugitive.
