‎TDC Ghana Ltd Donates Bus and Fuel Cash to Kpone Traditional Council to Ease Operations ‎

Tema, Ghana – Tema Development Company Limited (TDC Ghana Ltd) has donated a bus and cash for fuel to the Kpone Traditional Council as part of efforts to support its mobility and deepen relations between the two institutions.

‎

‎Presenting the items, the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd, Mr. Courage Nunekpeku, said the donation was made in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility and its commitment to community development.

‎


‎“This donation is to strengthen the relationship between TDC and the Kpone Traditional Council, and also to ease the movement of the council as they carry out their day-to-day activities,” Mr. Nunekpeku told the press.

‎

‎According to him, the company recognizes the important role traditional authorities play in governance and development, hence the need to support them with mobility.

‎

‎He assured the council of TDC’s continuous support, both in cash and in kind, and reiterated his pledge to use his office to transform Tema.  

‎“While assuming office, I made a promise to put Tema in good shape. We are working to deliver on that promise,” he stated.

‎

‎Touching on recent flooding in parts of the country, Mr. Nunekpeku said TDC would remove all containers occupying waterways in Tema.  

‎“Removing and demolishing structures that block water spaces is the way forward to avoid flooding in Tema,” he noted.

‎

‎He also thanked the media for their role in disseminating information on TDC’s activities.

‎

‎Receiving the donation on behalf of the council, Shipi Kwaku Narh IV of the Kpone Traditional Council expressed gratitude to TDC for the kind gesture.  

‎

‎He described the gift as timely and said it would significantly aid the council’s daily operations.  

‎“We are happy that government has finally heard our cry after many years of waiting,” Shipi Kwaku Narh IV said.

‎

‎The donation forms part of TDC’s broader community engagement strategy under Mr. Nunekpeku’s leadership, which focuses on infrastructure, urban renewal, and stakeholder partnerships.

‎
