‎Omay Newest Opens Creates Jobs for 30 Youth | CEO Urges Faith and Persistence

Speaking at the grand opening, Chief Executive Officer of Omay Business, *Mr. Isaac Kofi Osei*, recounted the company’s journey. A mechanical engineer by profession and a teacher for 30 years, Mr. Osei said he began the business after completing university in 1997 and relocating to Accra in 1982.

‎According to him, the path to success was not easy. “We started with goods in a car boot, and later rented shops before we were able to build our own facility to expand the business,” he said.

‎

‎Mr. Osei advised young people to remain faithful, persistent, and committed in all they do. He noted that owning the new mall will help strengthen Omay’s operations and contribute to local economic growth.

‎

‎Adding her voice, Mrs. Mavis Osei urged the youth to stay determined and committed to their goals. “Above all, put God first in everything,” she said.

‎The event was graced by Naa Obani, Queen Mother of Naa Maa Krom. She commended the couple for their contribution to community development and described the new Omay Mall as a beautiful addition that will make Naa Maa Krom more popular.

‎The Queen Mother called on the public to patronize businesses in the town and said the investment will go a long way in reducing unemployment.

‎She also advised the youth to be humble, hardworking, and faithful to their employers. “Stealing from employers causes many companies to collapse. Be dedicated so the company and the community can grow bigger,” she stated.

‎Also speaking, Omay staff member Mr. Francis Kweku Amanrie expressed appreciation for the new centre. He said the employment of about 30 youth will help keep them engaged and contribute to reducing criminal activity in the community.

‎With the opening of the Haatso branch, Omay Business marks another milestone in its growth from a small start-up to a fully owned retail facility, with a focus on job creation and community impact.
