Adenta MP Inspects Ongoing Construction of 24-Hour Modern Market Project

ADENTA— Member of Parliament for the Adenta Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, has conducted an inspection of ongoing infrastructure developments in the area, highlighting the commencement of an ultra-modern 24-hour market designed to boost local trade and economic activity.


Speaking to the press during the tour, Hon. Ramadan stated that the modern market was a primary pillar of his campaign commitments.

He expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far on the facility, which is scheduled for completion within 12 to 13 months. Once operational, the market will cater to local traders around the clock, addressing a long-standing infrastructure deficit in the constituency.

Hon. Ramadan praised the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and municipal staff for their execution of local development initiatives. 




He also announced that the newly constructed Amahia Maternity Ward will be officially opened in the coming week to enhance maternal healthcare delivery in the district.


Corroborating the project's scope, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ella Esinam Christine Ningo, noted that the initiative aligns with Former President John Dramani Mahama’s national agenda to establish 24-hour modern markets across all districts to stimulate economic growth.

Hon. Ningo emphasized that Adenta is setting the benchmark for this development model.



Project Supervisor Mr. Ashate Kumi assured the public that construction teams are working diligently to maintain high engineering standards while meeting the 12- to 13-month timeline.
