He noted that the initiative aligns directly with the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020 (Act 1049), which established dual educational pathways for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates to pursue either mainstream secondary education or specialized TVET tracks designed to accelerate employment opportunities.

"In reforming the service, there is a vital need to emphasize the importance of sports education in contributing to national development," Dr. Adzroe stated. He encouraged participating students to fully leverage the practical and professional knowledge acquired through TVET to build sustainable futures wherever they find themselves.

Throughout the competition, organizers consistently urged all athletes and coaches to uphold the core values of "fair play," emphasizing sportsmanship as a catalyst for a peaceful and successful championship.

Holistic Growth and Youth Guidance

Echoing the Director-General’s sentiments, the National Coordinator for Physical Education and Sports for the Ghana TVET Service, Mr. Eric K. Tetteh, expressed optimism regarding the rapid growth of sports education within the sector.
