Awal Mohammed stands as independent candidate


Hon. Awal Mohammed who is branch chairman for NDC Madina Constituency has submitted a nomination forms at the Electoral Commission's office standing as an independent candidate for Madina Constituency and called on citizens in the Madina Constituency to vote him into power for development. 


 Speaking in an interview Hon. Awal disclosed that he choose to go independent because he wants to stay true to the National Democratic Congress's core values and prioritize the needs of Madina's residents. This decision is likely to stems from a desire to maintain his integrity and authenticity, ensuring his actions align with the principles he believes in.


Moreover Critics claim that the incumbent MP for Madina Hon. Sosu has lost touch with the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) core supporters and the people of Madina, failing to tackle pressing local concerns. Hon.Awal revealed .



Many supporters to Hon. Awal speaking to media expressed confidence in his leadership, referring to vote Hon.Awal as member of Parliament for Madina and John Dramani Mahama as president as the leader to revive Madina.
