Mr.Nicholas S - A.Manu,Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Cookclean Ghana limited has stated that Cookclean Ghana Limited is focused on sustainable cooking solutions to save women from the hardships, the smoke, which contribute to environmental degradation and also create employment .

Speaking in an interview with Nation 1 news Mr. Manu narrated that he saw the plight of a little girl who could have been in a classroom, but she was touching firewood for the family. And for the firewood she was touching, it was not even good to be used as firewood. So, all the time this has engaged his attention and led to a decision to dive into the world of cooking.
Also Ghana has lost a lot of forests since 1990 and To date, more than 80% of our forests are gone and there's a need to do something. "So, we have a mission to save this situation, also to mitigate climate change" he added.
Furthermore Climate change is a problem not only for rich, even for the poor. The poor bear the brunt of the climate change because when there's no water, when there's no rain, their food they cannot plant, their land becomes barren. "And their flat, when the flat comes, they are the ones who suffer because they don't have any means as compared to a rich guy who may fly away or go to another place".he disclosed
He further revealed that the mission is to reduce somehow unforeseen problems. :So, that is the main reason why we team that as our mission.
"Our core value is to protect the citizens, starting from our own workers" he stated".

Mr manu also indicated that the company has a stringent policy and therefore their core value is to protect human life." Well, every business, no matter how small, whether a small farmer or a small dairy seller or somebody who is selling water on the street, they all have their problems. And basically, since our business is capital intensive, the problem is very huge" he noted
Also before a sell of a one stove, one must have made an investment of $150,000, that is to say, to go through all the problems, all the registration, validation of the project, piloting, testing. "You might have spent a lot of money before you sold one stove" he stated
He again highlighted some main challenge in finance and emphasized that the main goal is to put a smile on the child's face"
"The child that is behind the mother must smile when it's at the back of the mother and the mother is cooking" he advised
Talking about some initiatives achieved he revealed that the company takes care one deaf child for the past five years or six years.
Another is the usual program in going to communities, to distribute free stoves. "So any place we go, if we see somebody who is incapable of buying a stove, we give it free. So that's one of the things we do to help the community" he added.
Further Cookclean contribute to reduce deforestation and carbon emission in Ghana and in West Africa as a general.
"Well, I would say the whole world, because the tree that is in my village is serving somebody in Europe" he stated
Is to reduce huge sums of CO2 emission .
