Gospel in the bar partner with Iguala Inn holds open mic experience


On Sunday, 23rd March, 2025, Gospel in the Bar, in collaboration with Iguala Inn, present an unforgettable Open Mic Experience. The event, which was its first in 2025 , brought together talented artists, media personalities, and music lover to celebrate the power of gospel music and spread of the gospel.



Rev Ndiuwem Utuk Prudent, popularly known as Prubaba, President of Gospel in the Bar, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the attendees, artists, and media partners who made the event a resounding success.

"We're overwhelmed by the massive support from various artists and media outlets," Prubaba said. "Special thanks to Amin ola, Agast TV, DJ Paloma, Lisa Media, Police Media, and the management of Iguala Inn for providing a platform for the gospel. He then extend his gratitudes to,Olaide, Scanty, wuda, Nice City Music, and Young Fleep,among others for their incredible performances

.



Looking ahead, Prubaba announced that the next event is slated for Easter and encouraged attendees to connect with Gospel in the Bar on social media for updates. In a surprise revelation, Prubaba shared that Gospel in the Bar will not only remain in Ghana but will also expand to other countries, spreading the message of gospel music to a wider audience.




Gospel artist, Wuda shared his first-time experience witnessing Gospel in the Bar, expressing his excitement and encouragement for others to attend. He urged those who could not make it to church to take advantage of this unique opportunity, emphasizing the importance of glorifying God through music.

Wuda also extended a special invitation to young artists with untapped talents, encouraging them to locate Gospel in the Bar, where they can showcase their gifts to the world. He advised these emerging artists to shun unhealthy habits like smoking and drinking, instead they should seek the Holy Spirit's guidance to propel their careers forward.


DJ Paloma


DJ Paloma, also known as the Christian DJ, shared his thoughts on Gospel in the Bar, stating that the concept doesn't sound new to him, despite it being his first encounter with the ministry. According to him, people from all walks of life and religious backgrounds frequently visit the bars. The initiative is making it a prime location for sharing the gospel.




DJ Paloma expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, believing it will help save many lost souls. He recalled a personal experience where he witnessed a soul being won for the Lord in a bar. He pledged his support for the organizers, stating that he is ready to collaborate with them whenever they call upon him.


Olaide, Gospel Musician 


Gospel Artist, Olaide expressed his profound gratitude and excitement about Gospel in the Bar, describing it as an eye-opener. He confessed that he had never witnessed an event like this before, and the one held on March 23rd in Accra left a lasting impact on him.


Olaide encouraged the organizers to continue with the initiative, quoting the scripture "Go into the world and make disciples of all nations." He urged them to take this mandate seriously, using Gospel in the Bar as a platform to win souls for Christ, especially in areas where people may not typically expect to encounter the gospel. 



Furthermore, Olaide stated that he was honored to have witnessed Gospel in the Bar and called for support through sponsorships and subscriptions on various social media platforms.
