Amin Ola Backs Call for Paying Church Musicians: "We Must Be Realistic"
Renowned somatic artist and CEO of Nation 1 Media Group, Rev. Azaglo Fiakofi Michael—popularly known in the music industry as Amin Ola—has expressed his support for a recent statement made by Rev. Eastwood Anaba, founder of Fountain Gate Chapel, advocating for the payment of musicians who serve in churches.
Speaking on the issue, Amin Ola emphasized the need to move beyond overly religious mindsets and adopt a more practical approach.

“I completely agree with Papa Eastwood Anaba. Paying musicians in church is essential,” he said. “We must stop portraying Christianity as something meant only for the poor and vulnerable.”
He further stressed that many church musicians have invested heavily in their education and training to develop their craft.
“Some of these musicians have spent years in school and significant amounts of money to build their careers,” Amin Ola noted. “They also have families and responsibilities, just like anyone else.”
His comments have added weight to an ongoing conversation about recognizing and valuing the contributions of artists within the Christian community.
