Ablekuma West MP Urges Observance of Ga Traditional Council’s Ban on Noise-Making

The Honourable Reverend Dr. Kweku Addo, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, respectfully reminds all constituents that the Ga Traditional Council’s annual ban on noise-making will be in effect from Sunday, 12th May to Wednesday, 12th June 2025.

The ban is a significant cultural observance rooted in the traditions of the Ga people, and Hon. Rev. Dr. Addo calls on residents to fully comply in a spirit of respect, unity, and cultural harmony.



“We must all show true reverence for our customs, uphold law and order, and work together to strengthen community bonds through cultural cooperation,” he stated.

He further emphasized that peaceful and law-abiding citizens are the foundation of thriving communities. “Together, we will continue to make Ablekuma West a beacon of discipline, development, and cultural pride.”

Residents are therefore encouraged to refrain from activities that may generate excessive noise during this period, including outdoor events with loud music, drumming, and other disruptions.
