Faith, Unity & Vision: Greater Delight Foundation Ministries Launches in Winneba

Founder Calls for Continued National Cathedral Project to Promote Christian Unity

Winneba, Ghana — In a remarkable celebration of faith, unity, and legacy, the Greater Delight Foundation Ministries, in collaboration with Delight Film Ministry, officially launched its operations with a power-packed Praise, Worship, and Awards Night in Winneba. The event aimed to “invade the light of Christ” across the region through music, recognition, and testimony.

Delivering a heartfelt message during the launch, the foundation’s President and Founder, Mr. Gabriel Oluwaseyi Shobayo, called on Ghana’s government to continue with the National Cathedral project—but only if it is intended as a genuine symbol of unity for the Christian community.

“If the vision behind the Cathedral is to bring churches together in love and purpose, then it deserves every support,” he said in an exclusive interview with Nation 1 TV News.

This event was more than a launch—it was a milestone. Mr. Shobayo also celebrated his 49th to 50th birthday, reflecting on over a decade of ministry work in Ghana. He described it as a "Golden Jubilee Ebenezer"—a tribute to how far God has brought him and the foundation.

“This is not just a personal celebration,” he said. “It is the birth of a vision that has lived in my heart for years, now manifesting in Winneba.”

The launch featured vibrant performances from local church choirs, moving praise and worship segments, and a formal awards presentation to honor individuals and groups who have contributed to the ministry’s growth and mission.

Mr. Shobayo emphasized the importance of acknowledging those who have walked alongside the ministry from its humble beginnings.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Shobayo made a passionate appeal to the youth of Ghana. He urged them to create and support movies, media, and drama that highlight the values of Christ, unity, and morality, especially within the church.

“Let us raise a generation of filmmakers and artists who carry the message of Christ into every corner of society,” he said.

Looking ahead, Mr. Shobayo encouraged churches, ministries, and Christian organizations worldwide to partner in spreading the truth of the Gospel through creative means like stage drama and film ministry.

Attendees at the event expressed overwhelming joy and hope for what lies ahead.

“Seeing this foundation officially launch in our city gives us great joy,” one participant told Nation 1 TV. “We believe it will bring transformation and unity to our churches.”
