Dr. James Orleans Lindsay, President of GREDA, revealed that despite numerous efforts to attract international stakeholders, interest and participation remain notably low. He made these remarks during the official inauguration of the Association’s Executive Council Standing Committees and a Stakeholder Forum held in Accra.

“We’ve faced considerable challenges in bringing foreign developers on board,” Dr. Lindsay noted, emphasizing that their inclusion is critical to driving industry growth and promoting best practices across the board.

Despite the setbacks, GREDA remains resolute. Dr. Lindsay reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to increasing its reach and influence, with a clear goal of achieving 95% membership representation among all real estate developers operating in Ghana.

As Ghana’s property market continues to expand, GREDA views collaboration with both local and international players as key to shaping a more inclusive and sustainable real estate environment.
