Speaking to the press, Hon. Sowah Noi emphasized the importance of motivating BECE candidates at such a critical time, stating, "It is essential to be present and offer encouragement to these young minds to help them excel in their examinations."
Addressing the media during the inspection, the MCE noted that the purpose of the site visit was to ensure that the road construction activities do not disrupt commercial operations in the area. He highlighted the importance of considering the human element in all development efforts, underscoring the need for the Assembly’s involvement in any planned diversions or relocations.
He further called for inclusive engagement with affected individuals before the relocation of any structures. "Although the Assembly is concerned about the proliferation of roadside vendors, steps are being taken to ensure a safer and more organized trading environment," he added.
Hon. Sowah Noi also made a passionate appeal to the construction firms handling the Amasaman, Pokuase, and Sarpeiman sections of the project to intensify efforts in addressing traffic congestion along the corridor. He urged the contractors to prioritize traffic flow as work progresses, noting that a smoother commute is vital for both residents and businesses.
Adding his voice was the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga North, Hon. Akwetey Agbo, has expressed appreciation for what he described as the “resetting” of Ghana through massive infrastructure development.
