‎Government of Ghana Reaffirms Partnership with Religious Bodies to Drive Nation Building and Economic Empowerment

The Government of Ghana has reiterated its unwavering commitment to partnering with religious bodies across the country as key strategic allies in nation building and economic development.

‎He emphasized the government’s dedication to fostering collaboration with churches in Ghana. He highlighted that such partnerships would focus on nurturing entrepreneurial spirit within religious institutions with the necessary parliamentary support to achieve sustainable growth.


‎Adding his voice, Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Presidential Envoy, acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the church in national development , particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. He noted that the government’s Reset Agenda and the vision for a 24-hour economy would thrive by leveraging the church’s strong community networks and social influence.

‎He further called on churches to establish Economic Empowerment Desks to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among congregants, stressing that such initiatives would position Ghana as a model of progress and productivity on the global stage.


‎Speaking on behalf of the Presiding Bishop of Victory Bible Church International, Lady Pastor Mercy C. Adjabeng expressed deep gratitude to God for the church’s remarkable journey since its establishment in 1985. She announced that Victory Bible Church International is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2025, under the theme “40 Years of Changing and Transforming Lives.”

‎According to Lady Pastor Adjabeng, the church remains committed to grooming the next generation of believers who are spiritually grounded, socially responsible, and economically empowered. She emphasized that the founder’s vision continues to guide the church in developing members who not only grow in faith but also contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic advancement of the nation.



‎“We are not only raising spiritual leaders,” she stated, “but building a generation that is economically empowered, socially responsible, and aligned with the teachings of the church to respond effectively to national development goals.”
