Little Drop Lifeline Community Foundation Supports Education and Child Welfare in Agona East District
The Little Drop Lifeline Community Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to improving access to education by supporting children in the Agona East District of Ghana’s Central Region with essential learning materials. The donation included exercise books, pens, clothing, and footwear, aimed at boosting pupils’ morale and encouraging school attendance.
Speaking during the outreach, the Convener, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Mrs. Sandra Barnes Ofori, explained that the initiative forms part of the foundation’s broader mission to support underserved and left-behind communities across Ghana. She noted that beyond education, the foundation also advocates for improved access to basic social amenities such as clean water and electricity to enhance the quality of life in rural areas.
Mrs. Barnes Ofori emphasized the foundation’s long-term vision of continuously impacting the lives of children nationwide, with particular focus on vulnerable children.
According to her, nurturing children with the right moral values and educational support is key to preparing them for a brighter and more sustainable future.
A volunteer of the foundation in the community, Mr. John Easel, expressed appreciation for the foundation’s timely intervention, describing it as a meaningful contribution that will positively influence the lives and aspirations of the children.
Also commending the initiative, Missionary Ambassador Bishop Victor T. Appia praised the Little Drop Lifeline Community Foundation for its consistent and far-reaching impact on rural communities across Ghana.
Bishop Victor noted that such interventions play a vital role in national development through education and social empowerment.
