“Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale Are for God”
The just-concluded Black Love Gathering – Vals Edition, held on February 14, 2026, at Scenic Bar and Café in Accra, Ghana, has sparked widespread conversation following bold remarks by Rev. Enam, popularly known as MC Prubaba, Founder of Globally recognized faith based foundation, known as "Gospel in the Bar".
Speaking in an exclusive engagement with Nation 1 News after the event, MC Prubaba declared that global and African music icons , including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie, and Shatta Wale — “are for God.”
“Love Without Judgment”
Reflecting on the atmosphere of the Valentine’s Day event, MC Prubaba described the night as “beautiful beyond words.”
“Men and women came out simply to celebrate love. Couples danced. Laughter filled the room. The atmosphere was alive,” he recounted.
However, he emphasized that beyond the music and celebration, a deeper spiritual encounter took place.
“Some men who came just to enjoy Valentine’s night with their girlfriends went home in tears ,stressed that not because they were hurt, not because they were condemned , but because they encountered the Gospel right where they were. Love met them without judgment. Truth met them without shame. This is the heart of our message.”
A Biblical Perspective on Purpose
Addressing ongoing public discourse surrounding the lives of international and African celebrities, MC Prubaba anchored his message in Scripture, referencing Colossians 1:16–20.
According to him, all things were created by God and for God. He stressed that no human being was created by the devil, and no talent originates from darkness.
“While individuals may be negatively influenced,” he stated, “every person is entitled to salvation. Hell was created for the devil and his demons , not for humanity.”
The Impact of the Black Love Gathering
The Black Love Gathering, organized as part of a faith-inspired outreach initiative, demonstrated what MC Prubaba describes as the transformative power of grace in unconventional spaces.
He concluded with a public call to action:
Stop judging. Start loving.
Stop condemning. Start praying.
Every event is not just a gathering , it is an encounter.
According to organizers, the event reaffirmed a core principle of the Gospel in the Bar Foundation: when love leads, hearts open; when grace speaks, walls fall; and when the Gospel meets people where they are, transformation begins.
