Prophet John Anokye, Presiding Prelate of Worldwide Word Ministries, has addressed the growing concerns over inaccurate prophecies by some prophets in Ghana, urging greater responsibility and spiritual discipline within the prophetic ministry.


‎He made these remarks on Monday, February 9, 2026, during a press conference in Accra organized by Worldwide Word Ministries as part of activities marking the church’s 10th anniversary celebration.


‎As part of the milestone event, the ministry and its subsidiaries have outlined a week-long program themed around “10 Years of Dominion,” highlighting a decade of spiritual impact, growth, and global outreach.


‎Speaking to journalists, Prophet Anokye ,widely known for his prophetic movement and global end-time commission ,expressed concern about the increasing spread of inaccurate prophetic declarations across social and traditional media platforms. He emphasized that prophetic assignments must be handled with humility, prayer, and precision to avoid misleading believers and creating division within the Christian community.


‎According to him, reaching the 10-year mark is a significant achievement for the ministry, especially in the face of numerous challenges encountered along the journey. He noted that Worldwide Word Ministries has continued to grow stronger through faith, discipline, and adherence to biblical principles.


‎Prophet Anokye reiterated that the core mandate of the ministry is to raise Christ-like individuals across the world and to equip people with godly principles that provide practical and financial solutions to everyday life challenges.


‎He expressed heartfelt appreciation to church members, partners, and supporters who have contributed to the ministry’s development from its inception. He added that the vision of the ministry remains large and future-focused, stressing his belief that God has even greater plans ahead for the church.


‎The Presiding Prelate also shared insights into his prophetic calling, explaining that the gift developed through his deep passion and commitment to ministry work over the years.


‎He concluded by advising prophetic ministers and spiritual leaders to execute their prophetic mandates carefully and responsibly to prevent errors that could harm unity within the body of Christ.
