Adomi Bridge Gardens and Asuogyaman District Assembly Launch 2025 Tourism and Arts Festival to Showcase Ghana’s Cultural Heritage


‎The Adomi Bridge Gardens, in collaboration with the Asuogyaman District Assembly, has officially announced the 2025 Asuogyaman Tourism and Arts Festival under the theme “Tourism Through the Arts: Showcasing Our Story.”



‎The festival, set to take place from December 4th to 7th, 2025, aims to celebrate the true identity of the Asuogyaman community—its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant creative spirit. Organizers say the event will not only highlight the district’s tourism potential but also promote entrepreneurship, art, and unity among community members.


Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Nana Akonnor Bekai Ababio V, Osomanwawa of Akamai State, emphasized that the festival marks a new era for local development and a renewed sense of pride for the people of Asuogyaman. He pledged his full support to ensure the event runs smoothly, adding his royal blessings to the organizers for their dedication to uplifting the community through culture and tourism




Mr. Kwame Agyare, Chief Executive Officer of Adomi Bridge Gardens and lead organizer of the festival, outlined a series of activities designed to showcase the tourism potential of Asuogyaman. He expressed optimism that the event will attract over 15,000 visitors, both from Ghana and abroad, to experience the district’s culture and hospitality firsthand.

Adding to the excitement, Mr. Kojo Mensah, CEO of the Tourism Development Council, described the festival as a reflection of Ghana’s cultural identity and unity. He noted that this year’s celebration will be “one of the most outstanding yet,” promoting eco-tourism, leisure, and sustainable community growth. Mr. Mensah also encouraged local businesses to seize the economic opportunities that will arise during the festival.




Meanwhile, Mr. Jones Aruna Nelson, Eastern Regional Tourism Director, confirmed that all preparations are underway, with hotels and transport services ready to accommodate the expected influx of visitors. He assured that the Ghana Tourism Authority is working closely with the Asuogyaman District Assembly to ensure a successful and peaceful event that will put Asuogyaman on the global tourism map.


Mr. Nelson also called for stronger collaboration among security agencies, traditional leaders, and investors to support the festival, stressing that the event will play a crucial role in promoting peace, unity, and the unique hospitality of the Asuogyaman people.


‎The 2025 Asuogyaman Tourism and Arts Festival promises to be a landmark event—celebrating art, culture, and the beauty of Ghana through a shared story of community pride and creativity.
