GYAN Leadership Meets Nigerian High Commissioner to Advance Youth Vocational Training in Ghana
Leadership from the Groom Young African Network (GYAN) recently met with the Nigeria High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Ambassador Moses Ifedayo Adeoye, to discuss deepening regional unity and youth development.
Led by Rev. Azaglo Michael (Amin Ola), the GYAN team honored the Ambassador for his commitment to diplomatic harmony. During the session, the Ambassador challenged the organization to scale up practical, skill-based mentorship to help young migrants overcome employment barriers.
Key takeaways from the engagement:
Focus Areas: GYAN’s core pillars of leadership, career development, and self-reliance.
The Call to Action: Prioritizing vocational training in fields like plumbing, masonry, carpentry, and soap making.
The Goal: Equipping youth with technical skills to drive economic independence and regional stability across West Africa.
GYAN and the Nigeria High Commission have committed to exploring future collaborations to turn these vocational goals into tangible results for the youth.
