‎This year’s ceremony was anchored on the timely theme: "Professionalism Rooted in Integrity: Building a Trusted Insurance Future."

‎These inductees have officially earned the responsibility and status of Associates of the Institute.

‎Mr. Lartey emphasized that these new professionals are entering the industry at a critical time when maintaining high ethical standards is paramount to reshaping public perception and fostering industry growth.

‎In his address, the CIIG President made a strong appeal to the general public to prioritize securing insurance coverage, regardless of the size or scale of their assets.

‎"Being insured guarantees a secure future, most especially when unexpected circumstances arise," Mr. Lartey stated.

‎To underscore the critical need for coverage, he cited the devastating impacts of recent flood disasters across Ghana, which resulted in severe financial losses and property damage for thousands of citizens.

‎According to Mr. Lartey, these recent events serve as a harsh but necessary lesson. He noted that the disasters highlight a collective responsibility: individuals and businesses must take proactive steps to safeguard their livelihoods, as insurance remains the ultimate safety net against unpredictable adversity.
