RAJO CARE HOLDS FREE HEALTH SCREENING EXERCISE FOR TESHIE COMMUNITY

 


According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hypertension is estimated to contribute to about 12.8% of the total of all deaths and 3.7% of total disability-adjusted life years (DALY). 


This high prevalence can be attributed to population growth, aging populations, and unhealthy lifestyles.Cardiovascular diseases affect approximately a third of the world’s adult population and are described as the world’s largest-ever pandemic.that affect The heart, brain, and kidneys are end organs complicated by uncontrolled hypertension


Hypertension remains an important cause of death in Ghana according to a systematic review. 



Therefore Rajo Care Foundation in partnership with the Ledzokuku Social Welfare unit health for community development organized health sensitisation program for needy single mothers in the municipality as part of the Rajo Group's 4th year anniversary celebrations with the aim of reducing the rate of high blood pressure in Ghana through the needed education to manage the condition.


Speaking in an interview with nation 1 TV was the founder and Chief executive officer for Rajo group of company,Mr.raphel Ojebio advice the general public on the need to take their health seriously and urge them to constantly check their BP status before it get out of hands.


Added his voice was the unit head for development unit,Mr.kingsley Ankuma ,said that the program will go a long way to save many lives and also to reduce the rate of high blood pressure in Ghana.


Mr.kingsley calls on NGOs both in and outside Ghana for partnership in other to continue to save more lives.
