True Worshiper Prophetic Dance Ministries Equips Over 75 Youth with Vocational Skills to Combat Unemployment in Ghana


In a bold move to address rising youth unemployment, True Worshiper Prophetic Dance Ministries, a faith-based NGO, has successfully trained over 75 young Ghanaian through its free vocational skills program. This initiative, part of the organization’s annual youth empowerment drive, aims to provide practical skills and foster entrepreneurship among participants. 

 



Held in Ashwerease-Daaman, a local community in Ghana’s Eastern Region, this year’s program expanded its curriculum to include Makeup artistry—adding to its previous offerings of Detergent Making, Bead Crafting, and Pastry production.  




The three-day intensive training featured business orientation, hands-on skill development, practical demonstrations, an exhibition, and a graduation ceremony. The holistic approach was designed not only to impart technical expertise but also to encourage financial independence and self-sufficiency among beneficiaries.

During the event, Minister Vincent Anowie, Founder and President of the Ministry, reiterated the organization’s dedication to long-term impact. He revealed plans to form a monitoring and evaluation committee to track trainees’ progress, ensuring they receive ongoing support, including tools and resources to kickstart their businesses.  




"Our goal goes beyond training—we are committed to guiding these young entrepreneurs as they build sustainable livelihoods, enabling them to uplift their families and communities," Minister Anowie stated.

Mr. Felix Kofi Mawuko Dogbe, Vice President of the Ministry, emphasized the program’s alignment with the Ghanaian government’s efforts to curb unemployment. He also called for collaboration from stakeholders:  



"We urge like-minded organizations and donors to join us in this mission. Empowering the youth translates to reduced crime rates and stronger economic growth,"Mr. Dogbe remarked.  




Graduates of the program expressed profound appreciation, describing the initiative as a transformative opportunity amid economic challenges. 

 



With unemployment remaining a critical issue in Ghana, grassroots interventions like this provide a tangible pathway to economic resilience—empowering communities through skill development, one trainee at a time.
