GYAN President Calls for Collective Action Against Illegal Mining and Corruption in Ghana

 The President of Groom Young Africa Network (GYAN), Rev. Azaglo Michael Fiakofi, has added his voice to the fight against illegal mining and corruption in Ghana. Speaking at a program organized by the Human Protection and Livelihoods Platform in partnership with the Natural Resource Governance Institute, Rev. Azaglo emphasized the crucial role of traditional and religious leaders in advocating for truth, accountability, and good governance. The General secretary of West African Imams . Sheikh Bashir Muhammed has encouraged all Muslim prisoners and non Muslims to keep their hopes alive during their this holy month of Ramadan. Accord to him this holy month is a month of holiness and a month that the Almighty Allah accepts prayers and forgive sinners. He indicated that prison is not the end of life for an individual but a place to reflect and change from committing crime . Sheikh imam Bashir Muhammed urged Ghanians to support prisons across the country and the needy in the society. HEALTH TALK ON MENSTRUAL CYCLE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NHIS

 Achoribo Foundation in partnership with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) on Friday 14th March visited Ayenya D A Basic school in Accra to educate them on menstrual health and personal hygiene.  As part of the event the Head Master of the school extended his gratitudes to the foundation for their donations and having considered his school to do the donations. Cephas Mensah, a student of Ayenya D.A Basic School, shares his excitement about the health education program that was brought to his school. 'We learned a lot about personal hygiene,' he says.
